PLUME – B I O G R A P H Y

Plume, the duo composed of Lucas and Catherine Tizon, originally based in London, is the result of Lucas' love of sounds and sound-making.

Lucas persuaded Catherine to collaborate on an electronic project that unites his influence in Industrial and techno and her influences in rock'n'roll and pop vocals.
Their first EP 'Guilty' was released in early 2003 shortly followed by another one “Perfection” in late 2003.
Since, they have been working on a LP 'At Last', in collaboration with guitarist Rob Solway and drummer Mark Challans (FRAUD, ex-AMP), to be coproduced by Exotica and released in 2005.
They are now relocated in Jersey city, NJ, USA.
Two titles "wake up" and "Sioux Falls" are included on the Fiat Lux 1999-2005 compilation.

An appetizer from their New York experience.
Particularly influenced by the Big Apple's post 11th september thrashy mood, "At Last" their first album sounds as if the Yeah Yeah Yeah had swapped their quitars for an old rotten PC.

The 12 tracks produced in Spain by Olivier Gauthier (Exotica) echo the best of Sonic Youth and Suicide (New York always!) but also ressucitate the ghosts of the Old Europe, from Joy Division and Siouxie and the Banshees to My Bloody Valentine, whose influence travels through the entire album that hits the same wall of sound.
